The Evolution of Music in 3 Minutes… Well not so much the evolution of music but more so major events in the music industry and trends highlighted with some nice infographics and tunes. It’s definitely a good watch and worth the 3 minutes but most of all it really made me wish Spotify and Turntable.fm were available in Canada already…
Wrecking Bar (Ra Ra Ra) by The Vaccines from their album “what did you expect from The Vaccines?” just started listening to this Brit indie rock band and these guys are killing it. their debut album is the perfect end of summer soundtrack and something I’ll be listening to for awhile.
i’m so stoked Peter Bjorn and John show tonight at Lee’s Palace! i have pretty high expectations and i doubt i’ll be let down. so in anticipation of the show and for those who might be missing it, here is the mini movie the band made for the new album “Gimme Some”, featuring a unique music video for each track from the album. it’s pretty epic, so take 40min, sit back and watch this visual trip.
have you ever wanted to quit your day job, fall backwards into a swimming pool and join a traveling circus? Enjoy and try giving these moves a go this weekend, please just not around me.
Check out the newest music video from Bon Iver for the song “Holoscene”. The video, directed by Nabil Elderkin and shot in Iceland, features some great cinematography and amazing landscapes, which tie together perfectly with one of the best songs of the summer. watch.watch.watch.now
